In case you have not paid attention to any TV commercials the past week, X-Men Origins was officially released today on DVD ($15.99) and Blu-ray ($22.99). Staring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Live Schreiber as Sabretooth, X-Men Origins takes moving goers back to the 1800’s and chronicles the childhood of these two half-brothers as they grew up, with extraordinary powers, in northwest Canada. After action-packed opening scenes, the movie’s plot unfolds as new characters are introduced and sequel storylines are established.
Now available on DVD and Blu Ray, I Love You Man, co-starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segal, is the story of one man’s quest to break free from his fiancé’s 24/7 chokehold – maybe that’s overstating it a bit – and to develop platonic male relationships. You know, someone to golf with, grab a beer with, invite over to your man cave or to stand up in your wedding, all without any “awkwardness.” As one might expect, the flick turns out to be one awkward situation after another, which most guys will certainly relate to.
Released today on DVD ($14.99), Blu-ray ($21.49) and Two-Disc Special Edition ($22.99), Fast & Furious – not to be mistaken by 2001’s The Fast and the Furious – is the 4th edition to this high-octane series. In Fast & Furious, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are reunited, but these sworn adversaries must now join forces to bring down a shared enemy.
